Title (Name)
When posting a new job, it is important to be accurate, clear, and concise. Your job name is what potential candidates will see first. Make it short and descriptive.
Tip - there is a 12 character minimum!
Examples:
Public Relations support for B2B Tech Company
Website Copywriting for E-commerce Site
Duration (Type of Job Post)
Publicist supports 2 types of job posts, Project-based and Fractional. Be mindful of the difference between the two when posting your job.
Project-based jobs run in weekly increments, while Fractional jobs run in monthly increments.
Tip - If you are planning to hire someone for less than 1 month, choose Project-based as your job type.
Please contact us here if you’d like to post an hourly job.
Location Criteria
To complete your job post, you may select optional location preferences. You may type in your city or select from the drop down menu, as well as choose whether the role is fully remote, hybrid, or on site.
Tip - hybrid and on site preferences will limit your candidates to only those located in or around your city. Be mindful when selecting this option!
Description
Your job description is where you include all other critical details. Identify and include specific goals and key objectives for the project and role.
Questions to consider:
How will success be defined?
Who will the candidate be working with?
Any challenges to note right off the bat?
Rates (Budget)
Project based roles require a flat-rate budget, meaning an estimate for the entire project.
Tip - The minimum budget for a project is $1,000 and the maximum is $25,000.
Fractional roles are paid on a monthly basis, and therefore require a monthly budget.
Tip - The minimum monthly budget for a fractional role is $1,250 and the maximum is $30,000.
